The face of customer identity has changed completely over the years. While legacy systems such as password-based authentication and SAML continue to be present in the market, more modern specifications such as OpenID Connect, FIDO2, and FedCM are quickly gaining ground and powering unique use cases that enterprises require to reduce friction, improve security, and unify identities across their external apps. In this session, Descope Co-Founder Aviad Lichtenstadt will:
I am a co-founder at Descope. Before Descope, I was VP of R&D at Demisto, a security orchestration leader that was acquired by Palo Alto Networks. Prior to Demisto, I was the first employee at Sentrigo, a database security startup, eventually growing to R&D manager ahead of Sentrigo’s acquisition by McAfee. My career spans over two decades and is marked by getting things done and building products that are loved by customers. Outside of work, I enjoys spending time with my family, organizing volunteering activities in my neighborhood and magic.
At Descope, I am driven by two things: the problem we are solving and the people I am working with. I am excited by our goal of helping organizations reduce friction and improve security at the most important stage of their customer’s journey. And it’s an honor to achieve this goal with people I have worked with across companies for over 20 years. We are friends first, founders second, and prioritize solving big problems while having fun along the way.
